‘Have you ever admired a drawing and wished you could draw – well here’s your opportunity. You don’t have to be able to draw to come along (or draw that much). It’s a great relaxing and creative pastime and has sometimes been referred to as a form of meditation. It gives you the opportunity to really study a painting, a sculpture or even just a glass vase. All you need is a sketchbook, a few pencils, a rubber and a pencil sharpener.
The drawing group meets once a month usually on the second or third Wednesday at a gallery or museum. We usually meet around 11am, draw for about an hour and a half, have lunch (most of us bring our own) and then draw for about another hour.’
